"Skin" is a very essential part of our body. Anybody can fall in love With charming and glowing skin. This can be attained through our natural home remedies and few ayurvedic tips. The knowledge of skin and dermatology including the secret of beauty & wellness was revealed 5000 years ago in Ayurveda. The skin generally known as "TWAK" in Sanskrit has 7 different layers. They are -   Avabhasini: This is the outermost layer. It reflects the complexion and the quality of the Rasa Dhatu (nutrients).    Lohita: This layer supports the outermost layer. It indicates the quality of RaktaDhatu (blood).    Shweta: This is a white layer, and it provides balance to skin color.    Tamra: This layer nurtures the upper layers of the skin and also supports immune system.    Vedini: This layer is where we feel all sensations.    Rohini: This layer helps healing and regeneration.    Mamsadhara: This is the innermost layer and provides the skin stability and firmness. Each skin disease/ailment affects these layers according to the 'Prakruthi' (nature) of the person and the severity of the disease. At Janak i Madhavam we take special care to provide you with the effective medicines suited for your body type and timezones where you live. We also give you guidance on how to keep the ‘doshas’ balanced to keep the different skin layers healthy.

YOGA TIPS

Do asanas and pranayama to your capacity with proper break. After each asana lie down in savasana for minute to relax. After each pranayama inhale and exhale deeply and slowly for 5 times. When doing yoga obeserve who is the one doing yoga. Don't bathe after yoga. After yoga Have food or water after half an hour . Do yoga 5 hours after having food and half an hour after having water. Always drink warm water half an hour before yoga. Take bath before doing yoga. Have a mat to do yoga and wear loose clothings. Diet plays important role. Never learn yoga from watching internet. Learn from yoga master. When doing yoga do it in relaxed manner. If you missed yoga a day or two Don't feel guillty or frustrated , let go. Don't imitate others. It only matters how relaxed you are doing yoga. If on particular days if you don't feel to do yoga then you can do some joint exercise for ten minutes at your leisure. There is a saying in south india, drink your food and eat your water that is to say chew your food and drink water sip by sip. Never do yoga in ac room or under fan or in closed room. If you feel atmosphere is not good for doing yoga then you can light a ghee lamp for purifying the atmosphere.
